  • Why should I participate?

    To keep quality primary care providers in the process for you and your loved ones.

    We specifically created Valorcare to keep Primary Care Providers in business.  We have been consultants to medical and dental professionals for more than 15 years.  We are very aware of the impact healthcare reform is going to have on these professionals.  We fear that the quality end of primary care is going to leave the industry.  When this happens the consumers only remaining choice is the local emergency room(s).  In our opinion this is not a choice but an outcome.

    Not all consumers will care about maintaining a quality relationship with their primary care providers.  Those who don’t will be the ones spending hours in over crowded emergency rooms and then crying long and loud about how poorly they were treated.  They will receive what they have paid for which in the governments plan is very little.  We hope you are the kind of person who appreciates having a primary care provider who knows you, your past, your future and truly cares about the quality of your health.

    Our program provides a budget friendly payment for the patient, consistent cash flow for the provider, and helps create loyalty between patient and provider.  All of these are key cornerstones to having a primary care process that can be preventative and preparatory in accordance with each individual / families needs.  It is time for the consumer and the provider(s) to regain control of this relationship and start doing what is best for the participants and not the insurance company.

  • What if I have insurance, why would I want to use the Valorcare program?

    If you are fortunate enough to work for an employer who provides a great health insurance program then we commend you and your employer.  To you our program may seem like a waste of time and resources.  But keep this in mind, great employers with great health insurance programs only exist for less than 15% of all people who are employed.  Having a great insurance plan is a wonderful thing for you but it doesn’t help your primary care Provider(s).  Unless your favorite Provider(s) service a higher than average number of patients with great insurance programs, they will not be able to stay in business.  So, when you need your quality provider the most, you may still find yourself waiting in line in the emergency room.  If having a quality set of Providers is as important to you as your great health insurance program then we ask you to seriously consider the Valorcare program.

  • How do I become a Valorcare Participant?

    That is easy.  Click on the Create New Membership link and setup an account for your and/or your family.  Then call your preferred primary care provider(s) and request a consultation with the admin office to determine the starting amount for your monthly payment program.  After the provider(s) have entered the amount of the monthly payment then you need to login to our database via this web site and tell us when and where to get the funds for distribution.  We will take care of the rest.

  • What do I control?

    The participants control the three most important aspects of this program.

      1) Who they want to have a relationship with;

      2) The types of services to be provided via these relationships;

      3) How and when the monthly payment will be made.

  • What do my Providers control?

    Your Providers control the entry of and changes to the amount of the monthly commitment.  These also have control over the services they are willing to offer.  However, in the Valorcare program the Providers and no longer limited by Medicare or insurance company rules. Be creative and request the kinds of services you would like to see.  We are certain your Providers will appreciate the feedback.

  • Explain the Valorcare Level Payment Process

    First, the relationship is established.  Either party can initiate the establishment of the relationship.  Your account can be easily setup at the time of your visit in the Provider’s office.  An e-mail is sent to both parties to confirm the creation of the relationship.

    Second, a monthly payment amount is agreed upon and entered into our database.  We recommend past utilization be used as a means of determining an appropriate starting point.  An e-mail is sent to both parties to confirm the agreed monthly payment.

    Third, each year the patient’s past year of utilization is evaluated and the monthly payment is adjusted either up or down depending on their usage.  This keeps healthy people happy and moves the heavy users to a payment level that fits their need.  If, a patient’s health situation changes dramatically you can always change the agreed monthly payment as their needs change (you do not have to wait until the end of the year to make adjustments).  An e-mail is sent to both parties any time the agreed monthly payment changes.

    Fourth, we process the participant’s payment and distribute it accordingly.  We don’t care how many Providers the payment needs to be sent to.  For us, the more the merrier.  We consider this the service we are offering to you and hope you will make us work hard.  Oh, did we mention that there is no cost to your for participation.  Put us to work, we dare you.

  • How do I find participating Providers in my area?

    As we are a new company we are working hard to enroll Providers at this time.  However, it may take us some time to get to your area.  For this reason we created our registration form which can be printed by you and taken directly to your favorite Provider(s).  We believe the form clearly outlines the program and will allow you to get started even if the Provider has no idea who we are.  Ask the Provider to contact us and we will get them enrolled so you can start participating as soon as possible.

  • How do I get my Employer to work with the Valorcare program?

    We want to work with as many employers as we possibly can.  Payroll deduction is not the only payment method you can choose but we believe it is the best means for paying for your Valorcare program.  Print a copy of our brochure and take to your employer or have them visit our web site.  Payroll deduction is easy to setup and a lot simpler for you to manage.  We will help your employer get this process going as quickly as possible.

    If your employer offers cafeteria, health savings accounts, flex accounts or other similar plans please note that funds in these plans can be used to make your Valorcare payments.  We highly recommend you take advantage of tax friendly options any time they are available.

    One last quick thought.  If your employer is not currently offering any kind of health care benefits then ask them to consider putting $50 to $100 a month into a Valorcare program on your behalf.  In many cases this will completely cover your primary care expenses.  We know this is not going to help you in a catastrophic scenario but the rest of time it is GREAT.

  • How do you think Healthcare Reform will affect me?

    You will probably be forced to buy insurance or end up enrolled in your State’s Medicaid program.

    At this point in time the information indicates that consumers will face penalties if they do not buy “acceptable” coverage.  There will be credits available to help some consumers buy “acceptable” coverage.  Lower income individuals / families will be enrolled in Medicaid.  In extreme cases of hardship waivers from penalties may be available.  Additionally, small employers will fundamentally be expected to provide health insurance for their employees.  Please navigate to the Healthcare Reform (HC Reform) page of our web site for more specific information.
